Beyond Kitchens designed and provided contracting services to update this 1997 kitchen. The existing space was transformed from dark and poorly lit; to a bright, functional contemporary kitchen featuring two tones of grey, painted cabinets, and a stained quarter-sawn oak island. Under-cabinet lighting and a “statement” island light solved the Owner’s lighting problem. A wood-look luxury vinyl floor throughout the main floor unifies the space into the open-concept plan the home was meant to have.

Project Goals:

  1.  Update the existing dated and dark kitchen built in 1997

  2.  Provide better lighting in the kitchen

  3.  Unify the types of flooring throughout the main floor, including the kitchen

  4.  Turn the existing vaulted ceiling in the kitchen in to a focal point
